Gardeners is in search of a designer to create beautiful things together. From the best spot in Amsterdam, the Vondelkerk, we've been conceiving and producing noteworthy campaigns for 13 years, nurturing the positive essence within brands. Our portfolio includes brands such as Bloemenbureau Holland, Polestar, KLABU, elho, Waterschap, and Gulpener. We engage in strategy, brand activation, campaigns, and still keep up with (monthly) PR activities and influencer marketing. This ensures that everything we do gains significant visibility.
Of course, all this has to look polished, and that’s where you come in. As a designer at Gardeners, you collaborate with the rest of the creative team to elevate ideas to the next visual level. Each brand has its own look & feel, and you use that as a creative starting point to enhance the beauty of concepts and presentations. Drawing inspiration from various sources, you stay in the loop with what’s happening in the Netherlands and the rest of the world. In other words, you know what’s cool. Responsibilities:
- Developing visual concepts and designs that align with a brand’s identity and meet the needs of clients and marketing teams
- Creating artwork, such as logos, packaging, and promotional materials
- Collaborating with clients and marketing teams to ensure that designs accurately reflect the brand’s desired image and messaging

- Researching current design trends and staying up-to-date on new technologies and techniques.
- Presenting design concepts to clients and stakeholders for review and feedback.
- Managing multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ensuring that all designs are produced to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Providing support and guidance to junior designers on the team.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a brand design or illustration role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing design needs and priorities.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
